Narew, Podlaskie Voivodeship
Narew [ˈnarɛf] is a village in Hajnówka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.[1] It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Narew. It lies approximately 21 kilometres (13 mi) north of Hajnówka and 33 km (21 mi) south-east of the regional capital Białystok. HistoryNarew was founded in 1514. It lost its city status on May 24, 1934.
