Mezőkovácsháza District
Mezőkovácsháza (Hungarian: Mezőkovácsházai járás) is a district in southern part of Békés County. Mezőkovácsháza is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Southern Great Plain Statistical Region. GeographyMezőkovácsháza District borders with Békéscsaba District to the north, Gyula District to the northeast, the Romanian county of Arad to the east and south, Makó District (Csongrád County) and Orosháza District to the west.
