Luke Gell
Luke Martin Gell is a retired English actor. Once hailed as a "young Peter Kay"[1] Gell is most well known for the role of Tim Claypole in the BBC Three sitcom, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps from 2008 to the show's end in 2011. Early lifeGell was educated at The Kings School in Nottingham and trained at Central Independent Television's Television Workshop. He has been described as a "young Peter Kay"[2] CareerGell has been acting since the age of 11, including in the long-running hospital drama Casualty, and now runs the weekend drama workshop "Inspire Academy"[3] for young actors. Gell joined the cast of Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps in 2008 following the departure of Ralf Little, Gell appeared in Three series up until the shows eventual cancellation in 2011. Personal lifeGell is the owner of a Nottingham based theatre company named Inspire Academy.[6] In 2020, Gell confirmed he had quit acting and had opened up his own café in Nottingham.[7] References
