Liga 4 (Indonesia)
Liga 4 (English: League Four) is the fourth-tier of the football competition system in Indonesia, and the only amateur league football competition in Indonesia. The competition is organized by Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) and the first season starts in 2024.[1][2] HistoryThis competition was established as the fourth-tier level in the Indonesian football league system after PSSI rebranded Liga 3 as Liga Nusantara and elevated it to a professional competition operated by LIB. FormatProvincial phaseEach province will hold a provincial league, they are followed by amateur clubs without a limit of participants with different competition formats, the difference in the format is due to the different number of participants in each province. Furthermore, the teams that qualify from the provincial phase will compete in national phase.[1] National phaseA total of 80 teams will enter this phase.
TeamsProvincial phaseThe table below shows the number of teams participating in the 38 provincial leagues and the number of slots allocated to each league for the national phase in the 2024–25 season.
Notes:
National phaseThese teams will be the representatives from their provincial league to be competing in national phase. The number of representatives from each provincial league varies based on their league coefficient, with a minimum of one representative club per league.
