Lenny Ried
Lenny Ried (born 1 July 2007) is a German racing driver from Ehingen. He is set to compete in the 2025 Eurocup-3 season with Drivex.[1] CareerKartingRied has an impressive karting résumé, especially in his native Germany. From 2017 to 2018, he competed in Bambini karting, where he secured a best championship result of 2nd in the ADAC Kart Masters.[2] For the next three years, he went on to compete on OK-Junior karts, where his most successful year came in 2021, finishing 6th in both the Deutsche Kart Meisterschaft and the ADAC Kart Masters.[3][4] He moved up to join the OK category in 2022, and immediately found himself at home by winning the ADAC Kart Masters.[5] Ried then competed in gearbox karting in 2023, in preparation for Formula 4. Formula 4In February 2024, it was confirmed that Ried would be stepping up to cars, joining Monlau Motorsport for the 2024 Formula Winter Series.[6] Ried contested the full season of the series, and had a tough spell in the series. He finished 38th in the standings, securing a best result of 17th.[7] It was then announced that Ried would be continuing with Monlau for the 2024 F4 Spanish Championship.[8] Improvement was evident in the first round, as he finished 14th in the third race of the round at the Circuito del Jarama.[9] The third round of the season at Le Castellet saw him achieve his best finish of the season, as he finished 12th in the opening race of the round.[10] At season's end, Ried found himself in 27th in the standings, finishing above all but one of his teammates.[11] Eurocup-3In early 2025, Ried was confirmed to be joining the 2025 Eurocup-3 season with Spanish outfit Drivex. He would also join the team for the Spanish Winter Series.[12] Personal lifeRied's father is Christian Ried, who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
