Justin Janicke
Justin Janicke (born June 30, 2003) is an American ice hockey forward for the University of Notre Dame of Hockey East as a prospect to the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted in the seventh round, 195th overall, by the Kraken in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.[1] Playing careerJanicke played bantam hockey in the Minnesota Bantam Elite League (MNBEL) with the Great Plains during the 2017–18 season.[2] He then played hockey at Maple Grove High School during 2018–19. He then joined the Minnesota Blades, an under-16 AAA team, in the same season. During the 2019–20 season, Janicke joined the United States NTDP of the United States Hockey League (USHL). He managed 37 points through 45 games with the U-17 team.[3] For the 2021–22 season, Janicke joined the University of Notre Dame's hockey team.[4] He was then drafted in the 7th round, 195th overall, by the Seattle Kraken in the 2021 NHL entry draft.
