Juan Espinoza Medrano District
Juan Espinoza Medrano District is one of the seven districts of the province Antabamba in Peru.[1] GeographyThe Wansu mountain range traverses the province. Some of the highest peaks of the province are listed below:[2]
Ethnic groupsThe people in the district are mainly indigenous citizens of Quechua descent. Quechua is the language which the majority of the population (75.41%) learnt to speak in childhood, 23.66% of the residents started speaking using the Spanish language (2007 Peru Census).[3] References
