Jacksonburg is an unincorporated community in Harrison Township , Wayne County , in the U.S. state of Indiana .[ 1]
History
Jacksonburg was laid out and platted in 1815.[ 2]
A post office was established at Jacksonburg in 1822, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1903.[ 3]
Notable residents
Politician Abner M. Bradbury resided in Jacksonburg.[ 4] He is buried at the Jacksonburg Cemetery.[ 5]
