As a freshman in 2021, Bech played in all 13 games for the Tigers while making seven starts, where he notched 43 receptions for 489 yards and three touchdowns.[4] In week 4 of the 2022 season, he hauled in six receptions for 43 yards in a win over New Mexico.[5] Bech finished the season with 16 receptions for 200 yards and a touchdown.[6] After the season, he entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[6]
TCU
Bech transferred to play for the TCU Horned Frogs.[7] In his first season with the Horned Frogs in 2023 he played in eight games, notching 12 receptions for 146 yards.[8]
On December 19, 2024, Bech announced that he would declare for the 2025 NFL draft.[9]
On the final play of the 2025 Senior Bowl, Bech caught a game winning touchdown pass from Seth Henigan.[10] He finished the game with six catches for 68 yards and a touchdown. He was named the games Most Valuable Player.[11]
