Goldsborough is a small hamlet in the civil parish of Lythe, North Yorkshire, England within the North York Moors National Park. It is situated a few miles west of Whitby.

It was the site of a Roman signal station.[1]

Geography

Located at a longitudinal 54° 31' 14' North and at a latitude of 0° 41' 28' West, the hamlet is in proximity to natural landmarks, like the Goldsborough Cliffs. These cliffs, located immediately to the east of the village, are accessible at low tide from Runswick Bay or Kettleness[2]
