Gautami Kapoor (née Gadgil) is an Indian television and film actress, and model.[1] She is well known for playing the role of Jaya in Kehta Hai Dil[2] on Star Plus. She also gained popularity playing the lead in TV drama Ghar Ek Mandir[3][4] and more recently in Parvarrish - Season 2[5][6][7] on Sony TV. Her career has included appearances in notable Marathi Movies.

Kapoor met actor Ram Kapoor in 2000 on the set of Ghar Ek Mandir.[8] After dating for two years, the couple got married on 14 February 2003. They are parents to two children.[9]
