Fartan-e Kohneh (Persian: فرطان كهنه)[a] is a village in Azari Rural District of the Central District of Esfarayen County, North Khorasan province, Iran.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,749 in 403 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,197 people in 603 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,351 people in 684 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
