Cornelia Murr

Cornelia Murr is a British and American singer-songwriter. Her debut album, Lake Tear of the Clouds, produced by herself and Jim James, was inspired by the landscapes of upstate New York.[1] Pitchfork described it as "[h]azy, carefree psych-folk" which "obscures dense psychological dramas".[2] Murr released an EP, Corridor, in 2022.[1]

Early life

Born in London, Murr lived there and in Hertfordshire as a child.[1] She then lived the United States and moved frequently, including in the states of California, Colorado, Massachusetts and New York.[3] She holds dual citizenship.[4]
