Colfax Township, Newton County, Indiana
Colfax Township is one of ten townships in Newton County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 155 and it contained 70 housing units.[2]
HistoryColfax Township was established in 1871. It was named for Vice President Schuyler Colfax.[4] GeographyAccording to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.53 square miles (94.6 km2), all land.[5] School districts
