Broken Girl is the debut solo album by Julie Doiron, released in 1996.[2][3] The album can be considered eponymous, in that Broken Girl was also the stage name Doiron adopted for the album.[4] All of her subsequent albums, however, have been released under her own name.

The song "August 10" became popular on TikTok in late 2024 and early 2025, peaking at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart, No. 10 on the Hot Alternative Songs chart, and No. 15 on the Hot Alternative & Rock Songs Chart,[5] as well as No. 14 on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 chart.[6]
