Bill Mamadou
Bah Bill Abuza Mamadou (born 8 September 2001) is a Singaporean professional footballer who plays primarily as a defender for Singapore Premier League club Lion City Sailors and the Singapore under-23 national team. Primarily a centre-back, Bill is also capable of playing either as a full-back or midfielder. He is the son of former footballer Bah Mamadou. Loan to Young LionsWhile serving the compulsory National Service, Bill joined the Young Lions on loan for two years from 2020 to 2021. Lion City SailorsBill returned to his parent club which is currently privatised and revamp as Lion City Sailors after his completion from National service commitments. He made his season debut against Tanjong Pagar United in a 7-0 at the Jalan Besar Stadium on 13 August 2022 for their second big-margin win for the season.[1] For the match against Albirex Niigata (S), Harris was suspended and Pedro was injured for the match, which resulted in Bill starting the 1st of many matches for the season [2] International careerBill is eligible to represent Singapore or Mali due to his dad native origins. He represents Singapore Under-23 in the 2023 Merlion Cup, 2023 SEA Games and the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualification.
