Belmont Cameli (born February 28, 1998) is an American actor and model, best known for his roles as Jamie Spano in the Saved by the Bell reboot (2020–2021) and Eli in the Netflix film Along for the Ride (2022).[1]

Early life

Belmont Cameli was born in Naperville, Illinois. He developed a passion for performing arts during high school and participated in school theater productions.[2] After graduation, he pursued modeling and acting.

Career

Cameli made his acting debut with a guest appearance on Empire in 2018. He gained recognition for playing Jamie Spano, the son of Elizabeth Berkley’s character, Jessie Spano, in the Saved by the Bell reboot.[3]

In 2022, Cameli starred in the Netflix film Along for the Ride, based on the novel by Sarah Dessen. He played Eli, a mysterious and reserved character who forms a bond with the protagonist.[4]

Cameli is set to appear in the upcoming film Until Dawn, an adaptation of the 2015 video game by Supermassive Games, scheduled for release on April 25, 2025. The film features a new story with different characters, and Cameli's role is currently undisclosed.[5] He will also portray Frankie Boy in the crime drama The Alto Knights, which is completed and expected to be released in 2025.[6]
