Bangladesh Film Artistes Association
Bangladesh Film Artistes Association (Bengali: বাংলাদেশ চলচ্চিত্র শিল্পী সমিতি) is an organization of Bangladeshi film artists.[1][2] It carries out various activities for the benefit of film artists of Bangladesh.[3] Misha Sawdagor is the current president of the organization and Dipjol is serving as the general secretary.[4] HistoryBangladesh Film Artistes Association was established in 1984.[5][6] Current elected committeeMisha Sawdagor has been elected as the new president of Bangladesh Film Artistes Association for the term 2024-2026 and Dipjol has been elected as the general secretary.[7]

ControversyDuring the vote counting for the 2017-18 term elections of the Bangladesh Film Artistes' Association in 2017, notable Bangladeshi actor Shakib Khan was attacked at BFDC.[8][9] On May 8, 2017, Khan filed a complaint at Tejgaon Industrial Police Station, accusing several individuals, including actors Symon Sadik and Zayed Khan.
