Alan Walker College of Evangelism

The Alan Walker College of Evangelism (AWCE), formerly known as the Pacific College of Evangelism, was a theological institution in Sydney, Australia, dedicated to training individuals for Christian ministry and evangelism. Founded in 1989 by Sir Alan Walker, a prominent Methodist minister and social justice advocate, the college aimed to equip students with theological education, pastoral skills, and a deep commitment to community outreach. Accredited by the South Pacific Association of Theological Schools, AWCE played a significant role in shaping Christian leadership in Australia and the broader Pacific region. The college fostered a strong emphasis on practical ministry, social justice, and faith-driven activism, reflecting Walker’s lifelong mission to integrate faith with action in contemporary society.

The college closed in December 2022.[1]
