• January – The country will host the ASEAN Tourism forum to be held in Cebu, and Boracay.[1][2]
• October 26 – The Barangay and SK elections will be held. House Bill No. 10344 was filed for its postponement, but is pending approval.[3] Another bill which seeks to postpone the election in May 2029 and to extend the current barangay officials elected in October 2023 for a total of six years term.[4]

• The 66th Palarong Pambansa will be held in Agusan del Sur.[6]
• The country's television industry is set to complete the transition from analog broadcasting to fully digital TV nationwide. The rules for its implementation were finalized in 2024, with the migration process commencing in 2025, initially focusing in Mega Manila.[7]
