2022 GT World Challenge Europe Motorsport events in Europe
The 2022 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS was the ninth season of GT World Challenge Europe . The season began at Imola on 3 April and ended at Catalunya on 2 October. The season consisted of 10 events: 5 Sprint Cup events, and 5 Endurance Cup events.
Calendar
The provisional calendar was released on 4 September 2021, in which Hockenheimring replaced Nürburgring .[ 1] Monza and the season opener was rescheduled to one week earlier.[ 2]

Championship standings
Scoring system Championship points are awarded for the first ten positions in each race. The pole-sitter also receives one point and entries are required to complete 75% of the winning car's race distance in order to be classified and earn points. Individual drivers are required to participate for a minimum of 25 minutes in order to earn championship points in any race.
