2017 FIBA Women's AmeriCup International basketball competition
The 2017 FIBA Women's AmeriCup was held in Buenos Aires , Argentina from 6 to 13 August 2017. It awarded three spots for FIBA Americas to the 2018 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup in Spain .[ 1] [ 2]
Canada won their second straight title by defeating Argentina 67–65. Puerto Rico won their first ever medal after beating Brazil 75–68 in the third place game.[ 3]
