Šuto Orizari has a mixed population that includes minorities of Muslim Romani people and Turks, yet the neighborhood is associated with Albanians in North Macedonia.[4]

"Skopje is indeed spread over both sides of the Vardar river. Although the neighborhoods that lie northeast of the river (Butel, Čair/Çair, Gazi Baba, Suto Orizari) have mixed populations including representatives of the Turkish and Roma minorities, they tend to be associated with the Albanians."
