Selat Bungo

Selat Bungo (豊後水道code: ja is deprecated , Bungo-suidō^[1]) adaah sebuah selat yang memisahkan pulau Jepang Kyushu dan Shikoku. Selat tersebut menghuhungkan Samudera Pasifik dan Laut Dalam Seto.^[2] Bagian tersempit dari selat tersebut adalah Selat Hōyo.

Di dunia pemakai bahasa Inggris, Selat Bungo paling dikenal sebagai latar belakang dalam film submarinir Perang Dunia II 1958 Run Silent, Run Deep yang berdasarkan pada novel 1955 penjualan terbaik karya Komandan Edward L. Beach, Jr.^[3]
