Pertempuran Hutan Efraim

Menurut 2 Samuel, Pertempuran Hutan Efraim adalah sebuah konflik militer antara pasukan pemberontak dari dulunya Pangeran Israel yang diasingkan Absalom melawan pasukan kerajaan dari ayahnya Daud pada pemberontakan jangka pendek.^[1]

Tanggapan cendekiawan terbagi soal historisitas peristiwa dalam Kitab Samuel. Beberapa cendekiawan meyakini bahwa Kitab Samuel berisi sejumlah besar informasi sejarah, sementara yang lainnya memandangnya fiksi.^[2]
