HMAS Sydney (R17/A214/P214/L134) adalah sebuah kapal induk ringan kelas-Majestic yang dimiliki oleh Angkatan Laut Australia (Royal Australian Navy, RAN). Kapal ini awalnya dibuat untuk Angkatan Laut Britania Raya sebagai HMS Terrible (93) dan mulai meluncur pada 1944, namun pembangunan kapal ini tidak selesai sebelum berakhirnya Perang Dunia II. Kapal induk ini lalu dijual ke Australia pada 1947, lalu pembangunanya diselesaikan dan mulai beroperasi di AL Australia dengan nama Sydney pada 1948.
Sydney adalah kapal induk konvensional pertama yang diperasikan AL Australia, dan misinya termasuk operasi dalam Perang Korea, mengirimkan pasokan untuk mendukung Malaysia dalam Konfrontasi Indonesia-Malaysia, serta transportasi tentara dan perlengkapan dalam Perang Vietnam. Kapal ini berhenti beroperasi pada 1973. Pada 1975, Sydney dijual ke sebuah pabrik baja Korea Selatan sebagai rongsokan untuk dihancurkan.
