Bashshit
Bashshit (bahasa Arab: بشيت), juga Beshshit, adalah sebuah desa Arab Palestina di Subdistrik Ramle, yang berjarak 165 kilometer (103 mi) dari barat daya Ramla yang berjarak setengah mil dari wadi Bashshit. Artefak-artefak arkeologi dari desa tersebut menunjukkan bahwa desa tersebut telah ada pada masa Islam awal dan abad ke-12 dan ke-13. Disebutkan oleh para geografer Arab sejak abad ke-13, terdapat makam Neby Shit ("nabi Set") di desa tersebut.
Seperti sebagian besar wilayah Palestina, Bashshit dikuasai oleh pasukan Salibis, Mamluk, Utsmaniyah dan Inggris. Desa tersebut dikosongkan pada permulaan Perang Palestina 1948 sebagai bagian dari Operasi Barak. Bersama dengan desa-desa Barqa, Bayt Daras, al-Batani al-Sharqi, al-Maghar, dan lainnya, Bashshit diserang oleh Brigade Givati dari Haganah.[6] Setelah dikosongkan, sebagian besar bangunan Bashshit dihancurkan. Terdapat tujuh wilayah Israel yang sekarang berada di lahan desa tersebut.
