Christopher Jacob Abbott (lahir di Greenwich, Connecticut, Amerika Serikat, bulan Februari 1986)[1][2] merupakan seorang aktor Amerika Serikat. Ia pertama kali berperan sebagai aktor dalam film Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011). Ia berperan sebagai aktor dalam film Hello I Must Be Going (2012), The Sleepwalker (2014), A Most Violent Year (2014), James White (2015) dan First Man (2018).

Latar belakang

Christopher Abbott lahir di Greenwich, Connecticut, dan merupakan putra dari Anna Servidio dan Orville Abbott.[3][4][5] Ia memiliki seorang kakak perempuan, Christina.[6] Ia merupakan keturunan Italia dan Portugis.[7][8] Ia menghabiskan beberapa tahun pertamanya di Chickahominy, lingkungan kelas pekerja Italia-Amerika di Greenwich, dan tumbuh besar di Stamford. Ia bekerja di toko video lokal dan toko anggur milik temannya.[9][10] Ia menempuh pendidikan di Norwalk Community College sesaat sebelum ia mulai belajar akting di Herbert Berghof Studio.[11][12] Ia pindah ke New York pada tahun 2006 agar ia dapat lebih dekat dalam perjalanan ke sekolah.[13]
