Methanococcales (лат.) — порядок метанообразующих архей, на июнь 2017 года единственный в классе Methanococci Boone 2002[1][2] (синоним Methanothermea Cavalier-Smith 2002[3]).

Классификация

Современная классификация базируется на данных List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature (LPSN)[1], а также Национального центра биотехнологической информации (NCBI)[2]. На июль 2017 года в порядок включают следующие семейства и роды:
