Children are blessing and gift of the almighty God that should be upheld because in them enclosed the dignity, value, and rights as human being that should be upheld highly. But, recently violations against children are pervasive, at home, school, and other places. It is an irony that home and school which should be safe and comfortable to children change to be places where violations against children happen. Score of violations against children goes up year by year in multiple manifestations, such as physical, psychical, and sexual. The impact of the violence not just physically, but the most harmful impact are on their mentality and psychology. Remembering that children are important for nation in the future, it is a must that every part, sort of government, community, and parent, hold a responsibility to protect and fulfill children rights. Children should be protected from any kind of violation. To know how to protect children against violations, it needs several studies from mass media information. Analyze is done after reading and overseeing information resources. The efforts that can be done to protect the children from violation are: (1) Government, as policy stake holder should strictly to uphold the law for the sake of children protection and safety. (2) Community, as control agent should assure health and friendly environment condition. (3) Teachers, as men to follow should be able to show patience and shelter. (4) Parents, as educator and example should be able to love and care in family condition. Besides that, mass media are expected to be sensitive when exposing problems related to children violation. Those efforts are to create a better lives to the children, that expected to succeed nation potentially, strong, and have national spirited by dignity of mankind and Pancasila values, and have a strong will to save guard the nation and state unity. But all of those efforts are not easy to be done. It needs a commitment and sinergy from all related parts to safe children lives, for the sake of better future of children and nation. Those can be started by coordinated children protection system. The government strategic role should be upgraded. The revision of Law No 23, 2002, related to law sanction against children violation doers that should be really upheld, so that it can give deterrence effect and push prevention, and the same crimes do not occur again.
