This research was conducted with the aim to find out the effectiveness of online learning conducted by SMAN Satap Nusa Penida educators in the midst of the covid 19 pandemic. This research was conducted by descriptive survey research method. The sample in this study was SMAN Satap Nusa Penida educator. Respondents in this study as many as 95 respondents and conducted from March to June of 2020. Researchers use data collection techniques in the form of interviews and questionnaires. The effectiveness of online learning at sman Satap Nusa Penida Institution in the midst of the covid 19 pandemic has not been effective. From the findings of the study that there are still educators SMAN Satap Nusa Penida who do not run learning in the midst of the covid 19 pandemic. There are still many educators of SMAN Satap Nusa Penida who are not yet proficient in using online learning applications. The learning method used is still dominant in assigning tasks to learners. Many educators of SMAN Satap Nusa Penida do not agree with online learning because it is not effective and not all students who have Laptops or HP for online learning.
