Sometimes it's in the top section other times at in the 'Political Views' section. I am personally in favour of it being at the top as it is very relevant and arguably a big influence on the politician. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BlueMountainPanther (talk • contribs) 07:50, 1 November 2024 (UTC)

This means most will show up on the seat pages as they are excerpted from the results pages, except those with by-elections since then, I haven't made any for those, it'd be slightly more annoying but possible to do that. Please tell me what you think and if the images or layout can be improved! This was done using a semi-automated process, so any updates would be relatively trivial to accomplish. Eventually, I'd like to do this via a fully automated bot, which is not that technically hard, but the approval process is somewhat lengthy. The one thing I think is missing is the flow values, however its very hard to fit them all in with a varying amount of candidates, I was thinking maybe just do flow values for the last round or two. </MarkiPoli> <talk /><cont /> 15:10, 18 November 2024 (UTC) Independents in InfoboxSeveral Australian governments have been propped up and supported by Indi over the years and they play a major role in Australian political history and how our government has worked. The current RfC and Consencus on minor parties states that 1 member of a political party is enough for their inclusion. By a bloc of independents (The teals) despite in a minority government situation playing a larger role than parties such as the Greens or KAP they are excluded from many of the Info boxes. I don't see them taking up much space at all, and if people think the large IND symbol is too large there are other creative ways of including that information in the info box like simply having "Number of Independents". I think for the average viewer and reader this information is important and not including them places WP:UNDUE on minor parties such as the greens.
