User talk:WafryWelcome! Thanks for translating African elephant! When you complete a translation you can simply move it to the 'translated' section on WP:TIE, someone will read and correct it, and of course you can also read and correct other peoples work, if you like. I saw that you already discovered Wikipedia:Spanish translation of the week and are helping out at the inverse translation. If you want to, you can put {t1|user SPATRA} on your user page, this will unfold to {user SPATRA} Best wishes --Fenice 08:33, 5 January 2006 (UTC) ¡Bienvenido(a)!I'm very glad to see that you've signed on for the WikiProject Spain; we're starting to increase in many good ways! If there is something in particular that you have a special interest in, please let me know. If you're curious about little projects or tasks that might benefit from your attention, I'll be glad to offer a suggestion or two. Either way, welcome, and I hope to hear from you. GraciasGracias por votar para que la Feria de Abril sea traducida correctamente al español, tiene bastante contenido que no he querido seguir añadiendo con el traductor automático. Un saludo. --Saeta 11:20, 5 April 2007 (UTC) CNT translationIt doesn't look like many people are joining in on this translation yet? Jlaramee 21:15, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
JaramaHi. You marked the Jarama article as contradictory, but I don't understand what you mean exactly. I see the article is not a very good one, as it talks more about the bloodsheds near the river than about the river per se, but I don't see the contradiction. Maybe you could explain a bit more, and I could see if I can get it fixed. Thank you. Wafry (talk) 15:18, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Missing encyclopedic articles/esHi, I see you've removed a large number of interwiki-linked communes as done, but as far as I could see they weren't. Abrest, for example, has no article yet. Regards, — BillC talk 23:47, 30 November 2007 (UTC) Mérida
SPATRAHi Wafry, You seem like someone who has both been a long-time and active member of SPATRA, so I was wondering: Is SPATRA, for all intents and purposes, dead? There are few nominations, no new votes, and translations of the week tend to become translations of the months. I was just wondering, b/c SPATRA is something I'm really interested in and it was quite disappointing to see so little activity in the whole translation dept. in general. Thanks --Malachirality (talk) 06:55, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

CNTHey, so this line: "At the beginning of July, the Aragonese organizations of the Popular Front publicly declared their support for the alternative council in Aragon, led by their president, Francisco Ascaso." really confuses me. It seems to be an OK translation, but Ascaso was killed in the first week of the war, so couldn't very have been president of this organization. Do you know whats up with this? ¡Salud! I appreciate that you were just trying to help, but there really is nothing wrong with leaving links pointing to a disambiguation page if an appropriate page doesn't exist. Pointing readers to a non-existent page or a page that doesn't cover the subject of the link is actually extremely unhelpful and disruptive. You have pointed quite a few pages to the mythical aircraft pylon page, and made a whole heap of other pylon links point to pages that don't cover the topic referred to. An electricity pylon is a structure that supports electricity wires, not just a term for any old metal lattice tower. The pylon page actually explains that in many cases the term simply refers to an elongated support structure, so for many links this is absolutely sufficient to clarify the term for a reader and you don't need a specific page link. Please try to make sure that any edits you make in future actually improve clarity for the reader and don't serve to confuse them. Pyrope 19:18, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Demonlover spanish poster.jpgThanks for uploading File:Demonlover spanish poster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media). If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 07:01, 31 December 2009 (UTC) Your contributed article, Joaquín Torres García/TranslationHello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Joaquín Torres García/Translation. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Joaquín Torres García. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Joaquín Torres García - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page. If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding You are now a ReviewerHello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010. Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages. When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here. If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. However I also notice that here has been very little activity since 2007. This is a project I'm particularly interested in and would love to see it revived. I've taken the bold step of identifying an article requiring translation and I'm in the process of inviting collaboration. The article History of Puerta del Sol could really use your help. In addition, I'd welcome any ideas you may have to help revive this project so that there is greater collaboration among ES>EN translators on en.Wikipedia. I'm identifying various contributors from whom the SPATRA project may benefit. If you have any recommendations then feel free to contact them directly or submit there usernames to me via my talkpage. I look forward to your participation. Gratefully - EagerToddler39 (talk) 02:05, 22 September 2013 (UTC) Hi, Invitation to Women in Food and Drink editathon
--Ipigott (talk) 13:47, 14 October 2016 (UTC) (To subscribe, Women in Red/Invite list. Unsubscribe, Women in Red/Opt-out list) Europe 10,000 Challenge inviteHi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:10, 7 November 2016 (UTC) ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!Hello, Wafry.
