Strange as it no doubt seems, but it would appear that 86.148.159.102 (talk·contribs)'s edit to Irn-Bru (here), in which he adds that one of the brand's slogans was "Cheer up Goth. Have an Irn Bru", is infact correct, per this BBC News story (a picture of the ad is here). I believe they also ran TV ads at the same time which showed a group of stereotypical goths doing uncharacteristically cheery things like riding on roller coasters. -- Finlay McWalter | Talk13:47, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
AAARRRGGGHHH!!! It seems two of us reverted simultaneously - the edit previous to mine hadn't appeared when I told it to revert! Sorry. - Voxpuppet01:58, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, You just vandalized my work on the Freddie Mercury site. Your offense: Carelessly erasing my attempts to improve the citations. As I had already made about 10 edits upon seeing this, I cannot fix the situation by simply reverting the article. I expect you to fix your mistake. 138.67.44.17504:12, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Never mind. I realize that you reverted it again in a responsible way. You have to understand that I recently had some issues with a moron user named Trusilver who wasted huge amounts of my time. Maybe you know him?138.67.44.17504:22, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hope you don't mind, but I reverted your removal of a submission at WP:AFC. The submission wasn't done correctly, but it still had no objectionable content, and so I simply closed it as a non-notable bio submission. Hope that's okay! Ariel♥Gold15:25, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Absolutely an article like that would have {{db-bio}} on it, but at AfC, they aren't removed, they are just closed as non notable. Rarely are submissions entirely removed. Attacks inside a submission is removed, then it is closed stating "Attack removed". Blank submissions are closed as blank, copyvio issues are removed, then closed as cv, etc. And I hope you're not offended if you know all this already. Ariel♥Gold15:32, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I believe that is a humorous add-on you can install into Firefox, to get it to display a bunch of wild, kooky names instead of "Firefox". Purely entertainment but still funny, lol. Ariel♥Gold15:47, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Warnings
Please, do not revert vandalism without warning the editor that you reverted. Reverting vandalism is not as important as letting the editor know why you reverted. — Moeε16:34, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I will try to Improve it

If this was just an error, consider slowing down on tagging. If not an error, please better familiarize yourself with WP:CSD#A7, which requires a mere assertion of importance. While there are articles that fall into a grey area as to whether they have asserted importance, this article is not even close.--Fuhghettaboutit13:41, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'd be really sad if it was closed down. If someone was willing to identify some priorities for the project, then I would work on them in spare moments. I'm going to be editing really sporadically in the next couple of months though. And my problem with this project has always been knowing where exactly to start. Thanks for your concern and involvement. Itsmejudith22:27, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
More BAH
Hi Richard; I concur. With a bit of luck, having completed the Crawley rewrite that has taken me quite a while, I will have more opportunities to concentrate on B&H articles in the near future (including the churches, of course!). We definitely need more focus, anyway. A good place to start would be trying to improve the core article itself from its current "Start" class towards Good Article and eventually Featured-article status. As I did with Crawley, I'm willing to create a user subpage with an indicative structure based on the guidelines within WP:UKCITIES. Anyway, on the original question ... yes, we should try to reinvigorate and expand the scope of the project. Cheers, Hassocks548911:50, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please expand your nomination on the current AfD, not start a new one. You can always make a further comment down the page adding extra reasoning. Starting a new nomination suggests that you want to hide the keep comments that the page has already got. If you still wish this page to be nominated, please revert your closeq. Thank you for your post
Actually I failed to consider or note User:J Milburn personal religious beliefs when I made my post. I have appreciated the help that he has given me in the past and was simply replying to his notice of his birthday; nothing more than that was intended. I regret if my reply offended anyone. Dbiel(Talk)00:16, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've declined speedy on the above - per Wikipedia:CSD, schools are not automatically speediable under A7. Feel free to prod it or take it to AfD. Thanks. GBT/C20:25, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All encyclopedias etc. (= all sources) refer about him as Igor. He has "Igor" it in his passport. Unless you can provide a source that he has renamed himself, there is no reason of changing his name on wikipedia.-- LYKANTROP ✉ 17:15, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ig(g)or Cavalera - spelling?
I've offered my thoughts on the article talk page. I recommend now that you contact people involved (the people you have seen changing the name) and discuss the matter there- if the discussion doesn't come to a conclusion, try a request for comment. Shouldn't be any problems, but, if there are, don't hesitate to contact me. J Milburn (talk) 12:06, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, scratch the Mike Watt thing then. And we can actually put sources into infoboxes, nothing wrong with that. I'd prefer it if you cited all the notable instruments and the genre please. Is that okay? ScarianCall me Pat!13:29, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Signpost updated for July 28, August 9, 11 and 18, 2008.
Signpost updated for November 17, 2008 and before.
Because the Signpost hasn't been sent in a while, to save space, I've condensed all seven issues that were not sent into this archive. Only the three issues from November are below.
Congrats on being a quick and diligent worker. Thanks for this vital contribution to Wiki. :-D
Journals are reliable sources of the very best kind. Wikipedia depends on them in many articles. Academic journals are intrinsically notable. There is a WikiProject devoted to them.
Thanks for your quick work defending Wiki from disgusting advertising. However, in this case, we are simply dealing with a very key part of Wikipedia—documenting the very sources upon which it is built.
I'm removing the tag. Wait 30 minutes or so and you'll see how it all works. Cheers.

Hi, I note that before you took In re Gateway Learning Corp. to AfD, you attempted to get it speedily deleted under the A7 CSD criterion. You may have just picked the wrong criterion, but in case you didn't, you should note that A7 is only for "an article about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (e.g. band, club, company, etc., except schools), or web content". In re Gateway Learning Corp. (a court case) does not fall into any of those categories and would not be caught by A7. Please note also that CSD as a whole is ONLY for uncontroversial deletions; having had your PROD removed earlier that day you should have been aware the deletion was not uncontroversial. Once your prod was disputed the appropriate course would have been to bring the article straight to AfD rather than attempting a CSD. Thanks. - DustFormsWords (talk) 03:35, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Voxpuppet! The WMF is currently developing new tools to make new page patrolling much easier. Whether you have patrolled many pages or only a few, we now need to know about your experience. The survey takes only 6 minutes, and the information you provide will not be shared with third parties other than to assist us in analyzing the results of the survey; the WMF will not use the information to identify you.
If this invitation also appears on other accounts you may have, please complete the survey once only.
If this has been sent to you in error and you have never patrolled new pages, please ignore it.
Please click HERE to take part.
Many thanks in advance for providing this essential feedback.
You are receiving this invitation because you have patrolled new pages. For more information, please see NPP Survey. Global message delivery 13:48, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.
Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.
