Since I just noticed it was reverted, just needed to tell you I made this edit days before I was told I wasn't doing the right. ミラP 23:58, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Arbitration case opened

In 2018, you offered a statement in a request for arbitration. The Arbitration Committee has now accepted that request for arbitration, and an arbitration case has been opened at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Jytdog. Evidence that you wish the arbitrators to consider should be added to the evidence subpage, at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Jytdog/Evidence. Please add your evidence by March 23, 2020, which is when the evidence phase closes. You can also contribute to the case workshop subpage, Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Jytdog/Workshop. For a guide to the arbitration process, see Wikipedia:Arbitration/Guide to arbitration.

All content, links, and diffs from the original ARC and the latest ARC are being read into the evidence for this case.

The secondary mailing list is in use for this case: arbcom-en-b@wikimedia.org

An editor has asked for a deletion review of Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2020 July 20. Because you closed the deletion discussion for this page, speedily deleted it, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the deletion review. Principal editors

You commented on an RfC, and while all you say is right, I recommend that you look up who the "principal editors" are. I gave the link in the discussion. Hint: only two of the top 10 even cared to comment, one support, one oppose. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:45, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

One more of them commented today, actually the one who put in most work. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:29, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed your thanks message on GorillaWarfare's talk page and the comment about getting the hang of linking here. To creat a link to an article, place [[ on the left and ]] on the right of the correct article name. If you spell the article correctly (including capitalization), the link will be blue. If the results is red, you either got the name wrong or the article does not exist. If you are interested, look at the source of this post and you will see the markup I used so the double brackets would show just as double brackets rather than generating a link.

Help for wiki-markup is a link to a help page for all the neat stuff like linking, italics, and more. I find {{u|Neonorange}} useful to notify a user when you mention them in a talk page (giving this Neonorange) and this {{tq|Four score and seven years ago is a nice long life, but could be longer.}} to quote a passage in a talk page post, giving the following Four score and seven yers ago is a nice long life, but could be longer.

Your post on Gorilla Warfare's page was a good turn—and deserves another. Have a safe autumn. Thanks for editing Wikipedia. If you need any help, just ask (unless for help spelling or punctuating). — Neonorange (Phil) 02:39, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Crossfire Hurricane (FBI Investigation) article

Valeince--can you clarify why you saw fit to delete the contribution I made to the Crossfire Hurricane (FBI investigation) article? I saw no reason given. I would appreciate it if you would revert your edit, as it was both relevant and sourced. Thank you! Neptune1969 (talk) 22:39, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't talk about article issues here. Please make a case and gain consensus on the article's talk page before reinstating. Thanks. Valeince (talk) 23:38, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you do that again, you will be blocked. Fairly straightforward, I think. Black Kite (talk) 18:02, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Black Kite: Sure, thought it was the correct thing to do, but I was wrong. Thanks for taking your time to warn me. Valeince (talk) 18:10, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
While BK is right that you shouldn't have removed that, just wanted to tell you that your evaluation isn't necessarily out of left field; that's probably not trolling, but it's the functional equivalent to trolling. While intentionally saying something dumb in order to cause conflict is not allowed, we don't have a policy against saying something dumb that you actually believe. I'm afraid the latter is true in this case. --Floquenbeam (talk) 19:34, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Floquenbeam: You know I was just going to say nothing, leave the thanks for your comment, and move on, but have you seen the comments at the MFD that they made recently? Are you sure this isn't intentional trolling? Valeince (talk) 21:10, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have seen them, and I think this is more like honestly latching onto a foolish consistency, and defending it disruptively and incompetently. In that case, it's usually better to ignore them, IMHO. --Floquenbeam (talk) 21:15, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the follow up. I'll defer to your expertise. Valeince (talk) 21:20, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
