Iduronic acidHi Tomaxer, thanks for your addition of an image to the iduronic acid article. Do you think you could draw iduronic acid in the cyclic form? This might be a more representative image. The acyclic form you've drawn and the cyclic form are in equilibrium in solution but as with glucose the cyclic form predominates. The heparin article contains a picture of a cyclic IdoA monosaccharide (see the IdoA-GlcNS or IdoA-GlcNS(6S) pictures). I'm sure you can copy the IdoA part and improve on it!! License tagging for Image:HomocapsaicinII.pngThanks for uploading Image:HomocapsaicinII.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images. For more information on using images, see the following pages: This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:06, 12 May 2007 (UTC) BromoformI notice you are contributing a lot to haloalkane articles. May I ask where you got the information about the synthesis of bromoform with electrolysis? --Russoc4 16:58, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Merge of "Gaius Iulius Iullus (disambiguation)"A Dab you created has been under discussion at Talk:Gaius Iulius Iullus (disambiguation), and is slated to be merged into the corresponding article. I am vehement that every WP editor is their own assignment editor, so my purpose in informing you is not to suggest you've any further obligation -- rather, perhaps we can exploit potential efficiencies that would result, IF
Well, i think everything requiring admin status is done. I'll leave your "Gaius Iulius Iullus pre-merge history images" to be copied over by you, and thus clearly attributed to you. If you're not fed up with the drudgery, will you do the "image" of the new history as well? Heya Tomaxer I was wondering about the alkylating agents. I think other alkylating agents should be present in the "see also" section of this article, because MeI *is* a commonly used alkylating agent. What are your thoughts? --Rifleman 82 (talk) 06:02, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Seneca the YoungerYeah, it now has problems in that section with a syntactically broken lk, lks that probably should not have become red, apparent PoV or OR, a spelling typo, parenthetical comments that probably go off topic.... I'm gonna poke at the stuff i see; let me know if i miss concerns you had. Speedy deletion of Ján MóryA tag has been placed on Ján Móry requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. I was checking out some non-English Wikipedias and adding some links on sites with ChoralWiki and/or IMSLP templates. Do you have any sage advice about proceeding? Ornes (talk) 06:14, 5 November 2009 (UTC) Active-Stative Languages---Dear Tomaxer, I hope you get this message. I have reviewed the Active-stative page more carefully and I see that the formatting you prefer has serious problems, but my undoing of your edit did not really improve anything overall. So I apologise for not catching this earlier, however vandalism was not the intent. I had thought the information on Caucasian languages had disappeared. I see instead they have been subordinated under the headline "Siberia", which is of course incorrect, since the Caucasus are some thousands of miles away. On top of this, your current formatting has some languages entered multiple times, and the other main heading has to do with Amerindian languages, under which somehow we find Tibetan. So the whole thing needs reformatting. I may try to do this myself, at which point I hope you will see this message. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.177.236.113 (talk) 15:13, 20 November 2009 (UTC) Methylene iodideHi there, I am trying to figure out the reasoning for your adding a list of journal references to methylene iodide]]. I am sure that the gesture is well intentioned, but my understanding is that Wikipedia has no aspirations of competing with Chemical Reviews and other specialized review journals. Rather, the emphasis in WE is on secondary or preferably tertiary (reviews of reviews) like citations. See WP:SECONDARY.--Smokefoot (talk) 20:22, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Adding links to IMSLPHello Tomaxer, Could I ask you to please wait until works are actually (a) added for new composers and (b) approved by the copyright review team before adding links on biography pages to IMSLP? In the case of, say, Todor Skalovski, we have no idea whether or not anything would even have been uploaded, let alone permitted. So I'm going to have to revert that edit :-) Thanks, KGill talk email 23:14, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
It's a good idea, but keep in mind that recently, all of the composer categories were manually checked (to add nationality) by myself and P.davydov. I made sure that all of the biography links given worked; I'd assume that he checked them out as well, so if I were you I wouldn't worry about it.
FermoselleI see you did some work on Fermoselle. I'm afraid that someone who got in there before you dumped what appears to be a big copyvio into the article, so I've had to revert it way back to a stub. You may want to go through the article history (and through the source of the copyvio, which I identified on the talk page) and see if you can put something worthwhile back together. - Jmabel | Talk 06:26, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Revision to Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire and Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri articlesI noticed that you have revised either Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri or Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire. I intend to revise those articles following the Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Article guidelines. There are more details on the discussion pages of those articles. I'd be interested in any comments you have. It would be best if your comments were on the discussion pages of the two articles. Thank you. Vyeh (talk) 11:33, 8 June 2010 (UTC) You are now a ReviewerHello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010. Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages. When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here. If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. There are help pages, user guides, and description pages that need translating, as well as the interface itself. The translating work is going on over on MediaWiki: Translation Central. I also need help with a personal message for the Slovakian Wikipedians. If you are able to help in any way, either reply here, or head over to TranslationCentral. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here.
