You are now a ReviewerHello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010. Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages. For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here. If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. —DoRD (talk) 22:44, 11 July 2010 (UTC) Warning templatesHello. Regarding the recent revert you made: please use warning templates in the future. After a revert, these should be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. In case you didn't know, there is a {{uw-unsourced1}} warning, which is ideal after this kind of edit. Thanks. —mono(how's my driving?) 00:56, 12 July 2010 (UTC) The article on Hugh McFadyen is highly negative. If one compares it to the positive commenting on his political opponent Greg Selinger, one notices a strong political bias. I suggest deactivating BOTH pages (Greg Selinger and Hugh McFadyen) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.142.210.215 (talk) 21:07, 22 February 2011 (UTC) bin LadenI did cite it.[1] His death was announced today, but it didn't occur today. They had to have time to move the body and to conduct DNA tests. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 04:12, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Main page appearanceHello! This is a note to let the main editors of this article know that it will be appearing as the main page featured article on June 17, 2011. You can view the TFA blurb at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/June 17, 2011. If you think it is necessary to change the main date, you can request it with the featured article directors Raul654 (talk · contribs) or his delegate Dabomb87 (talk · contribs), or at Wikipedia talk:Today's featured article/requests. If the previous blurb needs tweaking, you might change it—following the instructions of the suggested formatting. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page so Wikipedia doesn't look bad. :D Thanks! ۞ Tbhotch™ & (ↄ), Problems with my English? 18:47, 15 June 2011 (UTC) Tropical Storm Alberto was the first of the 2006 Atlantic hurricane season. Forming on June 10 in the northwestern Caribbean Sea, the storm moved generally to the north, reaching a maximum intensity of 70 mph (110 km/h) before weakening and moving ashore in the Big Bend area of Florida on June 13. Alberto then moved through eastern Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia as a tropical depression before becoming extratropical on June 14. Across the western Caribbean, the storm produced heavy rainfall, causing minor damage. In Florida, a moderate storm tide caused coastal damage and flooding, while Alberto's outer rainbands produced several tornadoes. Alberto was indirectly responsible for two drownings off the coast of Tampa Bay. In North Carolina, heavy rainfall caused locally severe flooding, and one person drowned after running into a flooded storm drain near Raleigh. The remnants of Alberto produced strong winds and left four people missing in Atlantic Canada. Overall, damage was minor along Alberto's path. (more...) Hi, Possible removal of AWB access due to inactivityHello! There is currently a request for approval of a bot to manage the AutoWikiBrowser CheckPage by removing inactive users, among other tasks.
