Image watermarks

Hi Steevven1, you have uploaded 5 images with watermarks. This is a violation of Wikipedia's image policy [[1]] "Also, user-created images may not be watermarked, distorted, have any credits in the image itself or anything else that would hamper their free use, unless, of course, the image is intended to demonstrate watermarking, distortion etc. and is used in the related article. All photo credit should be in a summary on the image description page.". Please replace the images with non-watermarked versions, instructions for replacing them are on the policy page under "editing images" Cheers Clappingsimon talk 00:44, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Steevven1! I've been looking through some of your recent edits, and I've noticed that you seem to be inserting links to your own web site into several articles. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy, because these links do not seem to be relevant to the articles in question, and Wikipedia shouldn't be used to promote your web site. Thanks! Yeah I missed the uw- part. Thanks. I saw you warned him by hand; it's quicker with the templates, and it makes it easier for admins to see if he has been warned up until the final level 4. If you haven't found them, you can find them @ WP:UTM. RB972 00:44, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Emo (Slang)-Fashion

Sorry about the spelling and grammar errors. I didn't cite the wording I added, as the site I would have used(www.fourfa.com) was already listed at the end of the section. Would it be ok to upload the edit again if it was corrected and cited? Slag 10 03:26, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Joe E. Newsome High School

I have semi-protected the Joe E. Newsome High School, per your request. The protection will expire in 7 days, but the tag at the top of the page may will not automatically go away at that point. In case I forget to delete it, please do so then. Also, in the future, to request semi or full protection, post a message to Wikipedia:Requests for page protection, or WP:RPP (shortcut). --rogerd 19:26, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the expiration date from the tag to make it a little harder for the vandals to figure out when they can go back at it. It will still expire in a week (see article log). If the vandalism continues after a week, go back to WP:RPP and request a longer semi-protection. --rogerd 19:37, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Star Trek!

Hi there. I noticed you when I searched on Emo (slang). Apperently you're into Star Trek if I'm correct. Are you a Member on The Star Trek Encyclopedia Memory Alpha? Even if I live in Sweden and you in the U.S I'm still thrilled that I found a fellow trekkie/trekker in about my own age (15).

I can't believe that no one has mentioned it here. I just want to comment on what a good job you did with the emo (slang) article- I got into a habit of checking it every few weeks to see if it had finally been sorted, and when I saw it then, I got such a pleasant surprise to see it was well referenced, neutral, factually accurate and not layered with tags. Damn good work, well done. J Milburn 23:30, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The image you've replaced the older image with isn't an infant, it's way too old to be an infant. It's a toddler. And he isn't looking at a shiny object, he's looking at the camera (or the flash of the camera obviously attracts) --Arad 06:18, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Images

Hi. I wanted to point you to Wikipedia:Image_use_policy#User-created_images. I've noticed that a couple of the images you've created for use on Wikipedia pages feature advertising for your website, in a manner that is dubious, if not apparently intentional. The images in question are (Image:Emo beat up chuck taylor all star converse.jpg) and (Image:A-ok sign.JPG). I first noticed the shoe one, and replaced it, and then discovered the other. I intend to modify and replace the second one as well. It seems to violate policy to have distracting or self-promotional content unnecessarily (and seemingly deliberately) in the background or elsewhere in images used on Wikipedia. You seem to be aware of policy, reflected in your editing of (Image:Emo). I'm not trying to be contentious or anything, just giving you a heads up. --Cheeser1 07:43, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hair

There seems to be a lot of talk about how your hair used to be across your face, but I would just like to say I am failing to see how that looks like "emo hair" at all, I mean for one it's not black for two it's cut wrong upon the sides and furthermore just looks bad. The image should just be deleted for the sake of examples based on Wikipedia's part if that's all you were using the pictures for because based on WikiMedia there are a lot better examples within the database. • GunMetal Angel 08:53, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article 3 Beads of Sweat has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable record label

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of DB Studios

Hello Steevven1,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged DB Studios for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Trivialist (talk) 00:34, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
