MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:35, 8 October 2024 (UTC) Administrator Elections: Discussion phase Administrator Elections | Discussion phase
The discussion phase of the October 2024 administrator elections is officially open. As a reminder, the schedule of the election is:
During October 22–24, we will be in the discussion phase. The candidate subpages will open to questions and comments from everyone, in the same style as a request for adminship. You may discuss the candidates at Wikipedia:Administrator elections/October 2024/Discussion phase. On October 25, we will start the voting phase. The candidate subpages will close again to public questions and discussion, and everyone will have a week to use the SecurePoll software to vote, which uses a secret ballot. You can see who voted, but not who they voted for. Please note that the vote tallies cannot be made public until after voting has ended and as such, it will not be possible for you to see an individual candidate's tally during the election. The suffrage requirements are different from those at RFA. Once voting concludes, we will begin the scrutineering phase, which will last for an indeterminate amount of time, perhaps a week or two. Once everything is certified, the results will be posted on the main election page. In order to be granted adminship, a candidate must have received at least 70.0% support, calculated as Support / (Support + Oppose). As this is a vote and not a consensus, there are no bureaucrat discussions ("crat chats"). Any questions or issues can be asked on the election talk page. Thank you for your participation. Happy electing.

MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:30, 25 October 2024 (UTC) Bret Baier, infoHi Ser!, since I am not that familiar with WP:ONUS, user FMSky "reverted" on Okt. 30, 2024 an important passage concerning Bret Baiers career, just by arguing "unnotable". I put the issue on the discussion page. Would you please have an eye on that? Thanks a lot. Peter Christian Riemann (talk) 11:43, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

It's something to finalise between today, with nominations closing, and Monday, with an opportunity for withdrawals. ROs natiobally will probably publish their final lists early next week. Hello, Ser!, I guess you decided to close this AFD but you didn't do so correctly. The archived discussion is not correctly formatted, you haven't removed the AFD tag from the article or put the appropriate notice on the article talk page. Please finish this closure. Thank you. James LawlessHello Ser! Regarding Cuisle In James' personal website he mentions he was editor of Cuisle which was a FF Magazine currently dormant but which may be relaunched. This is a fact he is proud of hence it remains on his website and is also on the FF website too. Cuisle also has its own facebook page also. You may want to verify these facts.Devite (talk) 14:07, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

Re: Oxford child sex abuse ringThere's a lot more of these pages, and their view counts have gone from the low tens per day to over a thousand per day over the the couple of days [1] (this is perhaps connected to Elon Musk's X activity?). I've made a post at NPOVN with what I think are a comprehensive list of pages Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view/Noticeboard#"Muslim_grooming_gangs"_again, which you may find interesting.
