Question from Lepke99 on User:Lepke99/sandbox (04:14, 12 January 2024)Hello and Happy New Year for 2024 and Thank You for all your advice so far!! When I started to work on the article I am still working on, once I have accidentally submitted it as I was so much unaware of how things work with Wikipedia editing and creating new content. It was rejected, and the reasons why were useful information for my work. Mostly it was the lack of references and also the picture I used before was a screenshot picture. Now that I am almost ready I am worried that when I will submit it (again) it will be rejected (again). So I would kindly ask if it was possible to take a look at it and let me know if there might be something seriously lacking, that could be a reason for rejection. The main challenge I am having that this Buddhist Master is very well known in Taiwan and there is a wide array of content available about him in Chinese but hardly anything in English. So most of my references are from one of his English language books that are well written and easy to be used for his wiki article. These sources might not be considered as secondary so I am not sure if these references could get approved. It was also mentioned that it might be questionable that this person deserves a wiki page. In Taiwan the most famous (late) Buddhist Master is (late) Master Sheng Yen, who also has a very good wiki page. His first student was this person, Master Gouru and he has been active all his life thus I think it would be useful for many people to be able to find information on him through Wikipedia. As for the content I still need to add one paragraph or two, but my main concern is related to general format, refereneces, and other issues I might not even be aware of... Thank you very much for taking time for my concern! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Have a Nice Day! --Lepke99 (talk) 04:14, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
