User talk:RTY1998Welcome!Welcome to Wikipedia, RTY1998! I'm Spongefrog, and I've been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I'm here to say hi. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that I'm supposed to recommend to you:
It's a bit like giving you an instruction manual (and who reads the manual!?), so just ask me if you get stuck with anything. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Actually, I didn't, I was just trying to be interesting. Anyway, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, see Wikipedia:Questions, or ask me on talk page. Really, ask me. I love answering stuff. And yes. I am a real person, and this isn't an automated process. Alex Rider pagesJust been thinking about it - really my opinion counts for nothing. If you want to create new pages based on the characters, go right ahead. The only thing I'd suggest is to be objective about it - if your pages are just copy & pastes from the original condensed page, then there's nothing gained from the new pages, and somebody somewhere will nominate them for deletion. I suppose Starbright could benefit from a picture of Alicia Silverstone in her role... a_man_alone (talk) 17:03, 7 December 2009 (UTC) Hello, RTY1998. CHERUB and Henderson's Boys taskforceHi RTY1998, would you be interested in joining a CHERUB and Henderson's Boys taskforce? I'm just trying to see what sort of support this thing would get. Many thanks. Rock drum (talk·contribs·guestbook) 14:48, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
UpdatesHi RTY1998, there's a few announcements to make in relation to the project. Firstly, please consider subscribing to all the latest task force news by adding {{Wikipedia:WikiProject Children's literature/CHERUB and Henderson's Boys task force/Outreach/Updates}} to your userpage. Secondly, please consider adopting a stub class article and promoting it to start class. Please do the book articles first as they are more important. For ideas on how to get to Start class or beyond can be found at some of our other book articles such as, CHERUB: The Recruit. Thank you and happy editing! The article Abridged Series (internet phenomenon) has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
