I have no idea what conflict of interest I may possible have with Esther Bruton, Margaret Bruton, and Hellen Bell Bruton? I wrote these articles because they were women and because her biographer, who wrote a book about them, complained that they are excluded from the history and that Wikpedia doesn't have articles about them. This is what she wrote: "On another note, many times I have bemoaned the fact that the Bruton sisters don't have Wikipedia pages. As you know, Wikipedia pages are always a work in progress, and I will continue to monitor and update the Bruton pages as appropriate. You did not tell me why you posted "Managing a conflict of interest" regarding Bruton sisters? Could you please tell me what what the reason for " The nature of some of your edits suggests that you may have a Conflict of Interest with some of the subjects you edit or articles you have created". Several of your articles including the ones on the three Bruton sisters contain unsourced claims (which may be original research), a promotional tone or euphemisms, and some of the photos do not seem to have appropriate licensing and are copyrighted to the original artists yet claimed as "own work". Copyright laws an licensing is complicated. But you will be able to find more information on the Commons site.
In a nutshell, any works of art or photographs that were created less than 70 years ago are still covered by copyright law. If you photograph them the copyrights don't automatically transfer to you. The original creator (the painter or photographer, or whomever inherited the copyright) still owns the rights. You will either need to have the owner of the copyright release their the image into the public domain, or supply the appropriate licensing for more limited use. Proof of this would need to be emailed to the Volunteer Response Team on Commons (not Wikipedia, who would then analyze the case. Your designating the work as your "own work" is inaccurate even if you took the photo of a painting or found a picture on the internet. I know this may seem like a a lot of info; the question is: Did you obtain permission from the copyright holders?

Please read the above, it sounds like you did not obtain permissions from the copyright holders since you did not answer the direct question. Go to your user page on Commons and check all your photographs there (not just MB) to insure that the licensing and permissions are correct. If the original artist of photographer created the image less than 70 years ago and you have uploaded them as your "own work" this is not correct. You will either need to delete the image files, or contact the correct owner of the image for their permission; which then needs to be submitted to the Volunteer Response Team on Commons. You posted on my page "Managing a conflict of interest" and you explained that it is related to articles about Margaret Bruton and her sisters. So let us resolve this issue. For which image in the article "Margaret Bruton" I am supposed to get copyright permission? Here are all the pictures in this article. Many of Bruton sisters paintings and mosaics were ordered by US government (WPA program and US military and are on public domain) or were done for the exhibitions and public buildings. In any case, even if they are copyrighted (and I think that the are not) - what this has to do with "conflict of interest" template. Please remove your template "Managing a conflict of interest". I explained to you why I wrote articles about Brutons (because they were forgotten women artists) and that I do not have conflict of interest. Here is the list of all images in Margaret Bruton article, which one is copyrighted according to you?

United States copyright law states that the copyrights to an original work of art or an original photograph, based on creation dates (by the original author) lasts for 95 years from publication or 120 years from creation, whichever is shorter.

In the case of works published/created since 1978, the copyright lasts for the Life of the original author/creator plus 70 years. Copyrights of works created prior to 1929 have expired and are now considered in the public domain, except for those covered by individual states.

Please go to your uploads on Commons and identify the problematic ones, and either ask for them to be deleted on Commons or obtain the proper licensing/permissions from the owner of the original copyright, and submit proof of the latter. Here is a link [1] to your uploads (don't forget to click on the link "next page" once you do this for the first page of your uploads). Again, the link to the first page of your uploads is HERE.
