@Lourdes: - I can supply vague details and reasoning like I said to Serial Number 54129
How?!
I know each one for a different reason.
Robert McClenon - I posted on his talk page regarding the Alansohn case.
Carrite - see often at AfD, comments on my AfD's.
Guy Macon - I get this Guy confused with the other Guy who is not a Guy but signs as a Guy I think that's right?, he is active on noticeboards. (I have similar problems with the Andrews...)
Smallbones - posted on my talk page, see (#you might be interested in) above.
Widefox - seen somewhere, maybe AfD.
This is quite a few from the list. I don't seem to forget the usernames when I see them.
clarify properly
Not quite a cleanstart, but a similar idea I guess. I am an established Wikipedian on another project (1+ year), but not as active as I have been here over the last month. However I use this account to avoid angry English speakers trampling all over my edits on another project (my main project) if I annoy them (likely), and because it allows me to use a good English name here as opposed my identity, or an IP, since IP's can't even create articles here, and there are captchas.
This differs from a cleanstart account, where the prior account is no longer used, and a sockpuppet account, where both accounts are on the same project. I believe this is a WP:VALIDALT usage, but also don't think anyone has tested the idea since this happened, it's not in the documentation. I guess I run the risk of being banned from Wikidata or Commons if they noticed the overlap but there isn't an obvious issue since I don't participate in discussions there.
Sure Prince. Thanks for the clarification. What I understand is that you have two accounts on the English Wikipedia. One account is the account you made in your home project, which also exists here because of the Unified login (but which you don't use here), and the other account is the one you made on the English Wikipedia, but don't want to connect to your alternative account here, because of privacy reasons. If my understanding is wrong, please feel free to correct. I would suggest that in case you're planning to run for adminship, or in case you feel okay about, do inform the arbcom about your accounts. That'll serve the purpose here. What do you think about this suggestion? Thanks, Lourdes10:20, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
