Thank you! - Poydoo (talk) 16:31, 16 September 2019 (UTC) A7Hi, just as a note, it can be good to wait at least an hour before tagging an article for A7, newer editors often start by creating very short articles just to see if it works and then they add sources and content, like in the case of Alexander MacFarlane (judge). Anyways, see you around :) – Thjarkur (talk) 21:14, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
"Only $1.00" listed at Redirects for discussionAn editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Only $1.00. Since you had some involvement with the Only $1.00 redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. CSD A1Hi - you recently tagged an article (now at Draft:Jennings Mill Country Club) for speedy deletion as an A1. Please check the criteria for A1 - it needs to have insufficient content to allow you to identify the subject. I was very easily able to identify the subject by sticking the title of the article into Google - that's not A1. A7 would probably have been appropriate, since there was no indication of significance, but you tagged it only five minutes after the author had created the page. Please give authors a bit more time to work on an article before tagging it for deletion. I've draftified it for now in case the author wants to resume work on it. Mason (surname)Links to DAB pages must go through the (disambiguation) qualifier per WP:INTDAB. When you cleaned up Mason (surname) (this edit), you removed 20 of them and User:DPL bot promptly slapped a {{dablinks}} maintenance tag on the page. Could you put them back, please? It's a bit unfair to expect the next passing DABfixer to do so, and reverting would undo your good work on the page. Narky Blert (talk) 06:23, 28 August 2020 (UTC) Frank Hayes (jockey)You've reverted my changes even though the sources are already cited. In the article's sources, there's the 11th source [1], referencing the fact that he was 22. Other print sources for him being 22 - [2] and [3] Looking at 1920 United States Federal Census, for Brooklyn Assembly District 8, District 0424 , Frank Hayes, son of John and Margaret Hayes appears as 19, born in Ireland and immigrated to the US in 1901. There's another Frank Hayes that was born in New York and appears in the 1910, 1930 and 1940 censuses, but he doesn't appear in the 1920 one. He also resided in Brooklyn. Given the fact that he was alive in 1930 and 1940, we must come to the conclusion that he's not our deceased jockey. Your misunderstanding arises from the fact that newspapers at the time printed that his age was 35 - in The Brooklyn Daily Eagle, Brooklyn, New York, Tue, Jun 05, 1923 · Page 26 - [4] or 25 in Daily News, New York, New York, 05 Jun 1923, Tue • Page 25 [5]

Speedy deletion nomination of Albert Griffiths (reggae artist)
A tag has been placed on Albert Griffiths (reggae artist) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://wbssmedia.com/artists/detail/4137. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I wanted to get involved in this WikiProject, but I've been having trouble finding good sources of information about the country. I am most interested in writing biographies of Nauruan politicians, but seeing the state of coverage of Nauru on Wikipedia, I would be happy with almost any help in terms of getting involved.
