User talk:NicknimhNiceGreat edit! This is where I might normally offer some constructive criticism, but I can't think of any. Perhaps you should edit more often, preferably a lot more often ;)—Neil P. Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add Merge proposal at Dégradation nationaleI supported your merge proposal at Dégradation nationale, but just a note: generally speaking, you shouldn't ping other editors from merges, Rfc's, or other formalized consensus-seeking discussions, as it could look like WP:CANVASSING. There are some exceptions to this, which you can read about at the link. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 06:12, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
Ways to improve Joseph RasetaHello, Nicknimh, Thank you for creating Joseph Raseta. I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 15:01, 28 March 2024 (UTC) Misuse of vauthorsIn this August 2023 edit, you used the {{cite journal|vauthors=}} with the accept-this-as-written markup. Your use of the template is incorrect; these weren't Vancouver-style authors, which is the intended purpose of Disambiguation link notification for July 16Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Highest organ of state power, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Congress of People's Deputies. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.) I was cleaning up the party affiliation list in this person's article, and from the article alone it is unclear when he joined the SPA, while he is specified as leaving it in 1919. I therefore put "(?–1919)." Is this correct. MOS:APPROXDATE offers no guidance on this question unless I overlooked something, so is it up to the editor's discretion? Creating line breaks around template
Is it acceptable (or recommended, for that matter) to create line breaks around big vertical templates to improve the human-readability of code? For an example, see source code of Religion in Cyprus#Protestantism, recently edited by me. Nicknimh (talk) 21:09, 9 August 2024 (UTC)
