User talk:MuzikJunkyA note on postingIf necessary, your post will be copy-edited to conform with standard written American English. Particular pet peeves include incorrectly punctuated direct addresses, use of quotation marks and their relationship with punctuation, which vs. that, they vs. it, and use of a hyphen with spaces when an em-dash without spaces is needed. With all the editing you do on WP, I think it might really be a good idea to consider the use of edit summaries (see Edit_summary for info). I find they help other editors a lot, and you might find them useful yourself when checking your own past edits. Thanks! Doctormatt 07:00, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Elektra RecordsThis notice is to inform you that new Elektra label reissues on the dormant label use the classic 1960s stencil E logo instead of the double-E logo, which was the final logo before Atlantic Records absorbed the label and rendered it dormant. House music pipingI noticed you've peen piping house music as house-music. House music is not a single word, it doesn't require a hyphen, "house" is an adjective referring to style. Your use of house-music just creates additional work for you, when simply linking the two separate words will suffice. Cheers. --Pc13 (talk) 15:16, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
Re-issue of Mantronix: The Album or New Compilation Album?I was going to draft a new article on the 2008 Mantronix compilation album until I ran across your edit on The Album. Do you really look at it as a re-issue? I think it would be better as a compilation album, especially since it really doesn't track ALL of the listings on The Album, + there is a previously unreleased track on the new album. I didn't want to make a change until you weighed in with your thoughts. Sundevilesq (talk) 20:28, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Ibaranoff24 (talk) 16:12, 28 February 2009 (UTC) Hi, concerning somethingI looked through and I saw that you put in most of your articles Def Jam/IDJMG/Universal Records, physically that's incorrect since Def Jam is a label in it's own right, IDJMG is the parent compant and saying that it's distributed by Universal Records, which, BTW, links to Universal Music Group even though there is a seperate label with that name is incorrect since it says on their page that they're self-distributed. On most of these pages, only the name of the label, which it released it on is OK, not this Def Jam/IDJMG/Universal Records stuff, I also see that you did the same thing using the Record Label/Distributing Label/Parent Label stuff, especially Priority/EMI. Personally I think it doesn't make any sense, but I just wanted to share my opinion on this. Also I don't like that you use the term records by putting it at the end of something like PolyGram Records, first of all, it wasn't a label—it was a music group that distributed other labels releases. --Taylor Karras (talk) 11:05, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

DannyS712 (talk) 04:13, 5 April 2019 (UTC) May 2019Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Longest word in English, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. What are you trying to do? If you wanted to play the sound file, that was malformed, and it would not be appropriate to replace the article with the sound file in any case. Replaceable fair use File:PlanetRockSingle.jpgThanks for uploading File:PlanetRockSingle.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject). If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. George Ho (talk) 09:32, 23 September 2019 (UTC) ArbCom 2019 election voter messageMay 2020Hello. I'm not sure if you were aware that there was a discussion on it before you recreated it, but I wanted to talk to you first about it before tagging it for WP:G4 (or potentially another CFD). bibliomaniac15 03:12, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
Hello. I inserted the PROD tag on File:Technotronic featuring Ya Kid K.jpg. If you would like to WP:DEPROD it, please remove the PROD tag from the file. The de-PRODding must be done within seven days, or, if left uncontested, the image will be deleted. If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add "Jam on Revenge"Hi - I've spoken to the article's other main editor Andrzejbanas about this before, but I think this should be renamed "Jam On Revenge", because I think it means "the revenge of Jam On Productions" and not "fruit preserve upon vengeance". I'm pretty certain that Jam On is being used as a phrasal verb here as "keep on jamming" (which would make much more sense) and therefore the particle should be capitalized. All the sources I can find about the song capitalize the "On".
