User talk:Edit Centricl8r wherever you go, you make a differenceEC, I just wanted to drop by and say your efforts here were appreciated. I'm sorry things can get so turbulent here. I am sure wherever you go, you will make a difference like you made one here. I do hope someday you reconsider and come back again. You will be missed. Cheers, Kingturtle (talk) 23:30, 4 March 2009 (UTC) Get your a'rse back here!Hey, common EC, Don't goWe need you here at Wikipedia! But if you must, thanks for all you've done for USRD and Wikipedia, both in content and in working with other users. --Rschen7754 (T C) 02:24, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
HeyHey there Edit. I noticed you've been quietly stopping by and silently helping out behind the scenes now and again. I'm glad to see you still care about Wikipedia. I think a lot of folks miss your calming words of wisdom, but I'm glad to see that you at least look in from time to time. Nothing real major going on that I've noticed lately, but I've been rather scarce at WQE, AN, AN/I these days - the good part of that is that I've now got my first 2 DYK's under my belt, and one article up for GA assessment. I'm in PA, so spring is kinda peeking around the corner here, so summer can't be too far away. Well, anyway - just wanted to say hi, hope you and your family are doing well. Hope the DVD for 9/11 is coming along for ya. You take care. ;) — Ched ~ (yes?)/© 09:43, 22 March 2009 (UTC) QuestionPlease respond when you can. Are you sure that CNN was the first to break the news? Why didn't channels like Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon suspend programming on 9/11.? Bob.--99.141.141.25 (talk) 19:58, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
Help pleaseIn February of this year[1] you were helpful bringing a calm head to a heated interpersonal editor conflict between myself and User:Yaf over some difficult collaboration at the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution article. Progress since then has been very slow, and lately I have had a very hard time making a connection with Yaf. See for instance in the last day or so where when I make an edit and invite discussion[2] on the talk page, Yaf refuses participation on the talk page and then does blanket reverts[3][4] of my edits. I don't want to go down the 3RR warning path again, as that didn't work. Also, Yaf and I are not likely to see eye-to-eye, never the less there needs to be some way that editors who disagree can still find ways to work together. Do you have suggestions how I might encourage Yaf to engage in discussions with me to reach difficult compromises? SaltyBoatr (talk) 19:42, 9 June 2009 (UTC) Hello, Edit Centric. You have new messages at Ttonyb1's talk page.

I'm dropping you a note because I notice you're interested in the Valley. I am interested in working with a group of editors to improve the Central Valley's Wikipedia presence. For example, the Central Valley (California) article is assessed "top importance" but has the lowest possible quality rating. You seem especially interested in water infrastructure. I'm a student of water law and would like to better highlight the role of water in the Valley, especially the CVP/SWP. If you're willing to help with ideas or writing, then by all means drop by the project talk page: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_California. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media). If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 10:02, 7 December 2009 (UTC) Orphaned user image File:Illumina.jpgI was wondering if you remembered you had this image, and if you had any plans for it. Had you been inactive, I'd have placed it up for deletion, since it is an orphaned image that can't be used in the articlespace, however since you're active, you have a few options. a) you can move it to commons, at which point you can do whatever you want with it, and I won't ever bother you about it again. b) you could put it into use, in which case it would not be orphaned anymore, and I would have no reason to care that it's sitting around. c) you could put it up for deletion if you no longer want it. d) you could ask someone (incl. myself) to rename it, then remove the {{Rename media|2=[[Wikipedia:Database reports/Largely duplicative file names]]}} tag. If you did that, there's little chance I'd ever find the image again, and since I'm working on cleaning out that specific category, I'd have no reason to chase after you. California sealsHey there! I just wanted to say thanks for uploading all those images of California county seals! I've been having trouble adding mention of the 2012 Hantarvirus Outbreak to the main Yosemite_National_Park Page. I have written a new one-sentence draft of this edit in one of my subpages: User:Airelor/Yosemite_National_Park. Please take a look and suggest any other edits or make any changes as you see fit before I try to add it to the main Yosemite_National_Park page. If you know of any administrators or WikiUsers you can refer this draft (or me) specifically to for advice about this matter, that would be very appreciated too. Thank you. Formal mediation has been requestedThe Mediation Committee has received a request for formal mediation of the dispute relating to "Historicity of Jesus". As an editor concerned in this dispute, you are invited to participate in the mediation. Mediation is a voluntary process which resolves a dispute over article content by facilitation, consensus-building, and compromise among the involved editors. After reviewing the request page, the formal mediation policy, and the guide to formal mediation, please indicate in the "party agreement" section whether you agree to participate. Because requests must be responded to by the Mediation Committee within seven days, please respond to the request by 12 August 2014. Discussion relating to the mediation request is welcome at the case talk page. Thank you. Request for mediation rejectedThe request for formal mediation concerning Historicity of Jesus, to which you were listed as a party, has been declined. To read an explanation by the Mediation Committee for the rejection of this request, see the mediation request page, which will be deleted by an administrator after a reasonable time. Please direct questions relating to this request to the Chairman of the Committee, or to the mailing list.
