Mami NaitoHi there! Thanks for your article about Mami Naito. I've made some edits, assigned a category and put the competition information in a table with columns for the competition and date. I also put one of the bare urls into a simple citation format with the title, site and retrieved date. Hope this helps!--CaroleHenson (talk) 03:50, 15 January 2012 (UTC) 2012 South American U-20 Women ChampionshipHello. I find the results on Spanish Wikipedia. I found that you usually use a Chinese website "http://www.badmintoncn.com/cbo_star/star_xxx.html" as the source of reference for the badminton acticles. In fact, "www.badmintoncn.com" is just a Chinese badminton-fan platform, but not the official website of China National Badminton Team. I think it should not be used as a reliable source.—Wongpong (talk) 03:02, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

I noticed you added line breaks to 2011 Cloverdale Cash Spiel. What were you trying to do there? I think there may be a better way than using line breaks, but I'm not sure what format you wanted. 2012 Olympic Football officialsHello, I appreciate your feedback on the British (English) match officials. I was really unsure because in past Olympic articles I have seen officials listed initially as British but on the same article when listing them for officiating a particular match then they are identified with their Home Nation. I think I will go back and hopefully bring those articles in line with listing them consistently as British. Thanks. --Spartan008 (talk) 21:57, 19 April 2012 (UTC)

NWSLI would like to request your support in this discussion re: the professional status of the National Women's Soccer League and inclusion on this page: Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Fully professional leagues. Thank you for your consideration. Hmlarson (talk) 01:15, 26 January 2013 (UTC) New Super Series formatYes, I have seen this, too, but there were no discussions about it. On the one hand I am very happy, if somebody is doing such strange things like draws and I hope he (and you) will add a lot of more draws in the future. The addition of the qualification rounds is very useful, too. On the other hand it is very sad, that a work is done twice while a lot of other tasks are still waiting for the first time publication of Wikipedia. So what to do? We must keep him as editor, but it would be good, if he could apply his energy into the generation of really new draws. I have here for instance the complete draws for all disciplines of the 1949, 1950 and 1956 All England, some qualification draws of some world championships are still missing, too. Tournamentsoftware lists all draws of the All England since 1989, and all the draws from 1989 to 2009 (partially also 2010) are missing here. So really much things are to do. We have a lot of different events coming up, so you will have a lot to choose from. First, a reminder that our second annual Women in the Arts Edit-a-Thon will take place on Sunday, March 30 at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Coming up in April, we have our first-ever Open Government WikiHack with the Sunlight Foundation on April 5–6! We are working together to use open government data to improve the Wikimedia projects, and we would love your help. All are welcome, regardless of coding or editing experience. We will also be having a happy hour the day before, with refreshments courtesy of the Sunlight Foundation. On Friday, April 11 we are having our first edit-a-thon ever with the Library of Congress. The Africa Collection Edit-a-Thon will focus on the Library's African and Middle East Reading Room. It'll be early in the morning, but it's especially worth it if you're interested in improving Wikipedia's coverage of African topics. The following day, we are having our second annual Wiki Loves Capitol Hill training. We will discuss policy issues relevant to Wikimedia and plan for our day of outreach to Congressional staffers that will take place during the following week. There are other meetups in the works, so be sure to check our meetup page with the latest. I hope to see you at some of these events! I noticed you posted a question on Raymarcbadz's talk page on this topic last year asking what their requirements were. I'm not sure if you're still curious, but I figured I'd answer it anyway. It is true that Sweden historically were very inclusive in their selection, letting anyone who qualified go. It's been a while since then though, last 15-20 years they've been more picky. The stated requirements is having a chance to finish top 8 in individual events, or top 6 in team events. There might be some leeway in interprating that, but generally expecting a result around 20th wont do it in individual events. Aside from that, young athletes expected to do better in future olympics, will be selected more generously and don't have to meet as high standards. (Still, just qualifying isn't enough, they need to be reasonably on par with those competing.) Having followed their selection process the last few olympics, I'd say there's an additional situation where one qualified might be selected despite not having a reasonable chance at top 8 (top 6 for teams). That's if the athlete is the sole representative in that sport; they will be more generous then. (As evident in, for instance, the selection for speed spating in 2014.) Also, side note. Anyone selected and sent to the games for their chance in any specific event, is allowed to participate in any events they qualified too. That's why table tennis players get to play singles if their team qualify, and how Sofia Arvidsson got to play singles in tennis in 2012. (She was accepted for her chance in mixed doubles.) -- Lejman (talk) 11:35, 15 April 2016 (UTC) Disambiguation link notification for April 17Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. We noticed though that when you edited Boonsak Ponsana, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lee Dong-keun. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. If so, please email me at leung085@umn.edu. It would be helpful if you could include your Wikipedia username when emailing.
