Happy First Edit Day!Maybe "No thank you" instead of deleting solicited and referenced advice?I used to think you were a polite fellow Canadian, or at least somewhat tolerant of other people's opinions. But after what you did at the Humanities desk, I'm not so sure. Deleting stuff from your own user page is one thing, but deleting another user's contributions from a forum where you openly asked anyone for help is messed up. I won't point you to the rule about it or ask you to restore my friendly thoughtful tips, you're no noob, you get it. But if someone else (not me) wastes time answering a vague question of yours later, consider declining or asking for clarification instead of burning it all like a scared, confused and/or ingrateful New Yorker, eh? Sorry for the inconvenience. 213.93.190.216 (talk) 21:49, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
Altered speedy deletion rationale: User:Semendemon 1/sandboxHello Matt Deres, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I deleted User:Semendemon 1/sandbox, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided. The speedy deletion criteria are extremely narrow and specific, and the process is more effective if the correct criterion is used. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 19:09, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
Yakov BlumkinI have no idea why you reverted my edit. Yakov Blumkin was not an "illegal immigrant," which is what the link now directs users to. He was the "chief illegal resident," which, in Soviet parlance, referred to a special category of spy, as the article resident spy makes abundantly clear. 104.153.228.206 (talk) 03:48, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
ChhurpiHi there. I'm not sure why you reverted my edit. Theres no source of orgiin that chhurpi is from Nepal. Im not trying to vandalise anything. Ive changed it to the Himalayan region instead. Our study aims to facilitate the evaluation of AI models that power recent change filters that you've been using for patrolling. If you're interested, please find more details and sign up here. Thank you for your consideration! Tzusheng (talk) 01:52, 28 June 2023 (UTC) You clearly made a mistakeYou have clearly made a mistake deleting my edit. Circular economy completely plagiarised the work by Prof Robert Ayres - look up his book https://blackwells.co.uk/bookshop/product/Industrial-Ecology-by-Robert-U-Ayres-Leslie-Ayres-Paolo-Frankl/9781858983974 and Thomas Graedel https://www.amazon.co.uk/Industrial-Ecology-Prentice-International-Systems/dp/0130467138 . It’s is astonishing how unqualified opportunists are stealing and commercialising the ideas of scientists who are never acknowledged. I will give you another name: Prof Ernst Von Weizsacker. The article about circular economy is written like a commercial, pushing this idea for commercial gain. It is utterly ridiculous. 84.71.209.180 (talk) 01:15, 9 July 2023 (UTC)

something to askthanks for asking me a good question on this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reference_desk/Entertainment#a_question_to_some_people 2A02:8084:EA4:2B80:C503:E154:6B31:A8EC (talk) 21:23, 27 April 2024 (UTC) Speedy deletion nomination of They slash themA tag has been placed on They slash them requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Safari ScribeEdits!
