Service awards proposal(Ray) regarding jukebox mechanismAdvice on how to introduce free-hand drawings so as to explain the functions of a jukebox. I have had a number of drawings deleted from my input, would it be possible to have an index page? It is without doubt that diagrams of function will draw members attention. Johnny DeppAnd did he say why the French won't allow him to own one or whether Paradis owns one? The sources say he bought it for Paradis. Perhaps citizenship has something to do with him not owning it. Wildhartlivie (talk) 00:28, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

A small, short letterDear Jongleur100, I am the one who made the "bad" edit on the article 'Chewing Gum'. One of my friends, an administrator, talked with an editor about it, and they think we should make a community decision as a family on Wikipedia. Even the editor said the word has been changed throughout history of that article, and sometimes not event there at all. CamrynRocks! (talk) 23:15, 15 April 2010 (UTC)—Preceding unsigned comment added by CamrynRocks! (talk • contribs) 23:14, 15 April 2010 (UTC) A tag has been placed on File:Charles Ancliffe - Nights of Gladness.ogg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding WalesI have put the Wales article forward for GA status. It just needs tweaking, and maybe a heavy-handed swipe from outside to get it in place. I am writing to those who are constant contributors and defenders of Wales and Welsh articles, to not scream at me for doing this, but to help get the article through. If we fail, we fail, there is nothing wrong with that; but Wales should be a Good Article at least and if it takes good intentioned amateurs to reach that then so be it. FruitMonkey (talk) 01:39, 30 August 2010 (UTC) Labour PartyI would appreciate that any further reverts to the page Labour Party (UK), be adressed first on the Discussion Page. I feel that the previous version has too many hyperlinks and does not adequately summarise the page's content. One example is the top section of the opening paragraph, which merely stated 'The Labour Party is a centre-left political party in the United Kingdom'. It now lists several more vital pieces of information on the topic and is more in line with the format used in the opening sections of Conservative Party (UK) and Liberal Democrats.MWhite 17:08, 20 October 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mwhite148 (talk • contribs) If you think someone's hacked your account, you should change your password immediately.MWhite 17:13, 20 October 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mwhite148 (talk • contribs) Sainsbury's editI'm 100% with you that it's a bad image but I just don't get your edit summary that it's too old. Radio revertHi, you reverted a rvv on Radio. "Wireless" is correct, which will hopefully be obvious if you read the section. You didn't provide a reason for your rv, so if you insist it should be "wired", we can discuss it here or on the article's talk page. -- Nczempin (talk) 15:53, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

Cheltenham photo queryHello, Jongleur100, just stopping by on the off-chance that you might be able to help - don't worry if you can't. My current project is an article about the Boden Professors of Sanskrit at Oxford (underway at user:Bencherlite/Boden Professor of Sanskrit). The post was established by a James Boden, whose daughter Elizabeth is buried at Trinity Cheltenham. Her memorial in the church records the terms of his will, and so I thought that a picture of it might be a good addition to the article. I've had a look on Flickr, Geograph and Google and there's nothing I can use. So I had a trawl through Category:Wikipedians in Gloucestershire and spotted that you live in Cheltenham and take photos... I don't know if the church is ever open outside service times or whether it allows photography - or even whether the memorial is visible these days! - but if you happened to be in the area and happened to be able to get a snap of it, extreme gratitude would be sent in your direction in abundant measure. If not, don't worry, it's a long-shot and the world can live without such a photo anyway! No rush, needless to say. Best wishes, BencherliteTalk 00:12, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

New Wales Coast Path WikiProjectI see you're a member of WikiProject Wales and have contributed to Welsh articles. There's a new project, Llwybrau Byw!|Living Paths! under development which you might be able to contribute to. Lonely Planet rated the coast of Wales "the best region on Earth" in 2012, yet there is a very low number of articles on the history and culture of places along the Coastal Path and the many and various activities and attractions. This promises to be an exciting project as it gathers momentum with many Users joining in. Let's make this WikiProject, like the path itself, the best on earth! In order to achieve this we need diversity of content, in all parts of the UK and Ireland on all topics. Eventually a regional contest will be held for all parts of the British Isles, like they were for Wales and the Wedt Country. We currently have just over 1900 articles and need contributors! If you think you'd be interested in collaborating on this and helping reach the target quicker, please sign up and begin listing your entries there as soon as possible! Thanks.♦ --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:40, 28 September 2016 (UTC) Europe 10,000 Challenge inviteHi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 09:14, 6 November 2016 (UTC) Hi. This month The Women in Red World Contest is being held to try to produce new articles for as many countries worldwide and occupations as possible. There is over £3000 in prizes to win, including Amazon vouchers and paid subscriptions. Wikimedia UK is putting up £250 specifically for editors who produce the most quality new women bios for British women, with special consideration given to missing notable biographies from the Oxford Dictionary of Biography and Welsh Dictionary of Biography. If you're not interested in prize money yourself but are willing to participate independently this is also fine, but please add any articles created to the bottom of the main contest page even if not competing. Your participation in the contest and contributing articles on British women from your area or wherever would we much appreciated. Thanks. ArbCom 2017 election voter messageHello, Jongleur100.
